Death can be so unfair...especially when it comes suddenly and unexpectedly on a two-laned highway. You were only sixteen years old when you and your mother were taken away. My little "Har-Monica", how I used to love teasing you and laughing with you. Oh how I miss you.

Verdie was a wonderful person. She was kind, giving, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Verdie was more to me than a sister-in-law. She was my friend. She made me laugh. She'd hug away the tears when I cried. She is gone but lives on in my fondest memories. I love you Verdie Ann.
